Kamen Rider Filming Has The Potential To Increase Tourism

In Kamen Rider Build, a rainwater adjustment pond was used as a filming location in Honmuracho, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It appeared in episode 29, 30, and will appear again in the 31st episode on April 15, 2018.

The Municipal Industry Promotion Division is actively reviewing proposals from multiple cities, including Chigasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture. Within these proposals are potential new shooting locations, stating “It is an opportunity to promote the city and increase economic activity within the region.”

According to the Division, this is the first time in the Heisei Kamen Rider series that shooting has taken place within Municipal Industry Promotion Division. “We’re happy if this means there’s an opportunity for more people to visit Chigasaki because of popular works that appeal to multiple generations.”
