Additional Tokusatsu Actors Join the Cast of “Liar! Uncover the Truth”

The live-action film adaptation of the otome game Liar! Uncover the Truth has added additional tokusatsu actors to its cast.

“Liar!” is based on the popular romance game for women, developed by Voltage, Inc. The protagonist (the player) must get to know ten different men. Nine are liars, while only one is telling the truth. If she doesn’t find a new beau, her mother will make the heroine return home and set her up with a partner of her choosing.

Joining the cast are:

Tetsuya Iwanaga, known for this role as (岩永徹也) Kuroto Dan/Kamen Rider Genm in Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, joins the cast. About the role, he stated that he loves psychological warfare and thought the shooting was fun.

Yuki Kubota (久保田悠来), who played Takatora Kureshima/Kamen Rider Zangetsu in Kamen Rider Gaim.

Atomu Mizuishi (水石亜飛夢) portrayed Sakuma/Another Fourze in Kamen Rider ZI-O.

Takashi Nagayama (永山たかし), who played Yuichi Sato in Kamen Rider Ryuki.

Ryo Mitsuya (三津谷亮), who has appeared in a variety of stage plays, also joins the cast, along with actor Daichi Saeki (佐伯大地).

The film is scheduled to be released around Fall 2019, but the official date is pending.
