Kouhei Takeda, who previously appeared in Kamen Rider Kiva and Kamen Rider Build, announced on Instagram that he was cast as “Alexis” (アレクシス) in the ongoing drama 24 JAPAN.
There is no further information about the character available publicly. The actor did post two related articles on his official fan club website, which requires a paid account to access.
According to the post, Alexis will make his debut next week. The show airs on Fridays at 23:15.
The schedule on Takeda’s website states he will appear in the episodes airing on the 8, 15, and 22.
Previous tokusatsu cast appearing in the show include Daichi Yamaguchi, who most recently portrayed Ikazuchi in Kamen Rider Zero-One, who made his debut in episode 6 on November 13. Atsuhiro Inukai, who portrayed Sento Kiryu/Kamen Rider Build, was one of the earliest cast announcements on the show, along with Miki Yanagi, who appeared as Sela/Zyuoh Shark in Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger.
24 Japan is a remake of the American drama 24 that initially debuted in November 2001. The remake will also have 24 episodes. Season 1 began broadcasting on TV Asahi on October 9.
