Mass Shoplifting Spree Leads to Over $2K In Stolen Lego Sets And Kamen Rider Goods

On January 26, the Hyogo Prefectural Police announced it made multiple arrests in a case of mass shoplifting. The suspects allegedly stole toys worth around $2,000 total. The included around 25 items like Lego sets, Kamen Rider goods, and more in November 2020.

According to the office, the alleged shoplifters were a 19-year-old college student, a 19-year-old unemployed woman, and a 17-year-old high-school boy. The three allegedly worked with another boy to shoplift the goods in Ako City.

The police suspect the alleged shoplifters sold the goods to thrift stores.
