A 29-year-old unemployed man was arrested for allegedly stealing children’s toys at a shopping center in Sapporo.
The suspect who was arrested is named Shimizu Yuuki, who has no listed permanent address. He is suspected of stealing two children’s toys worth around 13,000円 (around $120) around October 26-27 last year.
According to the police, the toys were Kamen Rider transformation belts. The suspect was seen on security cameras.
Shimizu was also arrested last month for allegedly stealing a figure at another shopping center in Sapporo in December.
The suspect admitted to the charges. The police suspect that Shimizu stole toys and sold them, then used the money for living expenses.
