Kamen Rider Drive’s Shota Matsushima (Brain) announced he was infected with COVID-19 on March 30. On April 10, he reported on Twitter that his medical treatment had completed, along with an apology for inconveniencing and concerning staff and fans.
Matsushima was under the guidance of a public health center and felt encouraged by the warm messages he received daily.
The actor stated that recovery was more difficult than expected, and he experienced fever, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills, skin rashes, malaise, and more.
Unfortunately, the state play he was set to appear in, Untouchable Beauty, had to be canceled after nine people (staff and cast) were found COVID-19 positive. He stated that he hopes that they can one day work together and perform the play.
